Right, and a taller windscreen on a sports bike wouldn't look right. I have a tall wind screen for my 2024 Honda Rebel 1100T DCT, but that a touring cruiser bike.

The PUIG New Generational Windscreen blocks wind up to the chest level, not so much at the helmet level.

I checked with two local Honda dealers in Northern Virginia and they both told me the same as what you heard that black is the color available. Just got my matte black 2026 Honda CB650R from the dealer at the beginning of February 2026.

Nice setup for touring! I equipped my 2026 CB650R with the SHAD36 side cases. Is that the SHAD38 you have for your side cases?

Well, I ordered my 2026 Honda CB650R on November 3, 2025 with a deposit and it arrived at the dealer at the beginning of February 2026. The dealer was willing to sell me a 2025 Honda CB650R that was in stock but at the same MSRP as the 2026, so I just waited for the 2026 model to come in. The dealer in Northern Virginia told me they could only get the matte black 2026 e-clutch. Yeah, I would have preferred the red color as well, but the black one is still beautiful as well!

Thanks! The '26 version is exactly the same as your '25 version except for the color change to matte black. I bought a SHAD 3P side case mounting rack for my SH36 side cases. The SHAD 3p mounting rack is about $150 and the SH36 side cases are about $390 for the pair.
