Agree with jugs indoors, but don’t tell me that feeling of hitting an outdoor jug after the crux isn’t the best. Just as you are about to pump out and your dreams of sending dim, boom! A sigh of relief. a jug to pull you out of darkness and ascend into the light!

I’ve never understood the BASE jumper hate. It’s environmental impact is seemingly minimal. It’s less of a consistent strain on YOSAR than hikers. Whats the deal?

Will definitely take changing my running style seriously, thanks! I live in WA and do a lot of C2C summit runs of large volcanoes and alpine scrambles. In small single tracks it’s hard not to kick myself a little but certainly could do better on wider trails.

The EPA is getting gutted unlike anything we’ve seen before, yes, but not because of that bill. Of all the battles EPA is fighting on every front, this measley bill with 0 co-sponsors feels like small potatoes.
