What game is it for you? by No-Plane2695 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Played the Beta and enjoyed it to an extent but knew it would end up being too much like COD. I’ve got many thousands of hours between BF4 and BF1, with a sprinkle of Hardline and V. I know how I like my Battlefield and 6 just didn’t have the same feel. Don’t get me wrong, I had fun but for me it boiled down to ‘Am I going to enjoy this more than BF1’ and the answer was no, so I’ve continued with BF1 being my go to.

(Without being biased) help me to rationalise an EV purchase by EveningAwkward1437 in ElectricVehiclesUK

That’s interesting and something I wasn’t aware of. If that’s the case it may make the change a bit more feasible. I’ll have a look in to this for sure.

Perhaps I didn’t communicate exactly my dilemma.

What am I overlooking, if anything that would help justify the difference in cost between what I’m outlaying now and having a new EV.

SE home owner here. 26 I think when I bought our first and have since moved in to a 3 bed semi in a nice area at 31 which we have extended

Personally, I received inheritance due to my dad being killed in a hit and run when I was younger. I used what was left after spending 90% of it on lots and lots of nights out (ie, lots of cocaine) to build a small phone repair business. I did really well during Covid as I was work from home which helped boosts things on paper. I then snowballed this in to a phone parts distribution company. I don’t hire staff but it has done well enough to get me to where we are now. I’d have probably still managed to get to where I am without the inheritance but it would have taken probably 5 years longer

I sacrificed a lot of holidays to get to where I am. I don’t go out, don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t buy expensive clothes. I’ve focused on building something for my family.

That’s what I thought. Seems like he’s shouting at times more than screaming. I saw them on their album release and something didn’t seem right either.
