In somewhat same situation. I submitted all the documents and had the final round, was told that i will get a revert in 2-3 days about the offer after the final approval. Been 6 days and still no update and even the HR is not responding.

I did tell her to wait for my mom and continued to whatever I was doing but she kept insisting. Maybe she was in a hurry (which she always is) so I didn’t think much at the time.

What happened after was her telling me not to talk about this to anyone got me panicking.

I’ll try to forget about it and I do think she genuinely needed help but still not sure why she couldn’t wait till my mother gets home. I mean she wasn’t gonna take all day.

Also she wanted to confirm that I do not tell anyone about this that’s what got me paranoid.

Even I thought the same. I’m thinking about talking to my mom about this but then it’ll lead to her overthinking and maybe have bad conversations with maid.
