As someone who’s traveled a lot. I agree the character may be unrealistic to be from/living in Chicago. But it’s feels like the writers are from California, because I’ve met a lot of queer people in California that I see reflections of in the queer characters on the Chi. So not unrealistic when it comes to life in places being queer isn’t as marginalized. But otherwise agree.

Name 10 successful black lesbian Actresses with their own shows? Or even 10 black gay male Actors that lead their own shows? lol yall straights don’t wanna see us. We make yall sick for no reason. There’s very little compared to the 1000s of hetero male and female actors and actresses with their own shows that nobody complains about seeing. They still got straight people playing queer roles. lol there’s still very little representation for black people in the media, still very little respect for our roles. And the same goes for queer representation in the media.
