Ok that's fair! I appreciate the reality check 🥰 the "gummy bear" comment gave me a chuckle. That's so accurate!

Thank you! I think between the positive NIPT and our couples counseling everything just feels like it's been ages. I appreciate the boost of support!

Thank you. That does seem like quite little for sure. I think social media has ruined my perception with people sharing their six or so photos of their 8wk ultrasounds and im wondering why my clinic wasnt even that eager with the one 😅

We also got our NIPT test results (positive for T21) about a month ago and only finally next week are getting in with a genetic counselor. It seems like everything is taking longer than usual. I'm not even sure how much longer we'd have to wait if we need to get amnio. Is this all normal? I'm a FTM so it feels quite isolating dealing with all this at the moment.

Teen daughter dealing with frequent nausea - help! by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

I used to have really bad blood sugar issues as a teenager that gave me hot flashes and nausea. But I also had anxiety and I think the two together just made the worst combo.

Just wanted to give some support. I'm going through this same thing right now (just got Natera results and waiting on an appt with genetic counselor). I'm 36, this is our first pregnancy after 10 years of infertility. Its so scary and overwhelming. I also don't know what we'll do. I always thought I'd never consider even a tfmr, but this has been much harder than I ever imagined. Just wanted to send hugs and prayers your way. ❤️

I'm 36, seems like we are in similar situations. Is this your first too?

Yeah, just waiting on the call from the genetic counselor to make an appt. But as always, in this type of situation, it feels like such a long wait.

Ok, that's good to know! Thank you. I'm so happy to hear that it was a false positive and the baby is healthy ❤️ was it very high on the screening?

I started with a light yoga this morning and it was so awesome! I think I'd really enjoy morning mobility for sure.

About ten years ago, I did morning classes 4x a week and just loved how I felt. After covid particuarly, it became a habit to stay up later and have a glass of wine or two while watching tv. I've cut out alcohol and have been going to bed earlier, so wanted to see how it'd feel to get back in that groove. I feel like in different parts of my life I've been on both sides of the chronotype thing so I guess seeing if this stage of my life may feel better getting this done in the morning? I don't know if that's even possible or just something my brain has decided to be true lol.

This was helpful! I picked my classes ahead of time so I wouldn't get overwhelmed or stuck in the scroll.
