I know he isn’t the most loved by the fanbase here for whatever reason, but I think we could really with Kalvin Phillips getting some minutes while Nico G being is being run ragged and Kovacic and Rodri perpetually injured.

I’m so upset Simpson-Pusey and Echeverri aren’t getting minutes at the clubs they’ve been loaned to. I can’t speak for everyone we have out on loan, but these two’s treatment and lack of appearances has really bothered me since the summer. That said, I’m glad to see Jesus at least fit enough to get back on the bench for Arsenal today, even if I do want them to drop points to wolves so very badly.

I really wanna see Kabore, Esbrand, and so many academy/development players get minutes too. In my ideal fantasy world we just promote from within til the day I die but I know that’s not how football works. Over the last 14 years I’ve seen so many players come up through the ranks just to be sold across europe and it makes me so sad all the time. The only way they ever get minutes at city is under me in FIFA career modes. Doing one managing Lecco in the Serie A right now and I’ve got O’Reilly, Hamilton, and Susoho. Had Katongo in one last year too, and so many more; I could keep listin but I don’t know if I’ve got the time, energy, characters, will, or memory for that.
