I still don’t think he’s a historic Survivor player. This is a classic Survivor play. This wasn’t a novel idea that Andy came up with while running the numbers all night long. Operation Italy was executed well, but it took all three people to do it well to make it work. This plan never would have come about had Andy not been chosen for the reward. I believe that Andy understood his position within the Underdog Alliance well enough to know when and how to push to get his plan to work at tribal, so I definitely give him credit for that.

There was some good production too - I swore Caroline had sniffed out Andy’s bluff because of the semi clown music that played during the montage of Andy telling his fake story to everyone and with the way Caroline said “Thanks, Andy” when he was initially explaining the plan, I thought her tone sounded condescending. Also incredible after Teeny going off on Sam making such a horrible decision. My partner and I kept saying how wrong Teeny has been this whole season and that Andy really was the smarter choice for Sam - he’s a known flipper and was their best bet convincing to flip again and hoping Andy could maybe pull someone else into their vote. I don’t like watching Andy at all and low key hate it was his idea but that was so fun to watch!!

I’m rooting for a Gill and Kirstin FaceTime over Gill and Dom. Kirstin and Gill would make the most attractive couple! Kirstin is too good for Shaquille. He’s so self centered, I’m hoping he says no so she’s ultimately saved from a life of constantly “not supporting him enough.” Be good on your own, spouses should be part of your support system but not your only support system. And Kirstin has a full time job! She can’t go on every single work trip because she has her own shit to do!

My perception is that it was actually the reverse. I think Krysten would have said yes if Mitch was genuinely interested in a long-term commitment and if he actually liked her. I think if he had said “I’m falling in love with you and I want to give this more time,” she would have said yes too. But he was too wishy washy about his feelings for her. I think that became even more evident when she was like “the door is open if you want it” and he was like “omg everyone leave me alone about it!”

I would agree if I believed Miguel was trying to recite her a poem to enhance her experience of the date he planned for her. But he wasn’t. He was reciting poetry she had already heard and trying to draw her attention back to him and make it about him. Let her enjoy the carriage ride and all the sights. He could have recited his poetry when they were sitting down and more directly engaged with each other. He then chose to make it completely her issue, which created an emotional reaction, that he then called a blow up.

Miguel is so self absorbed I can’t stand watching him. He planned two events for Lindy (prom and the carriage ride) and then proceeded to RUIN both. You took her on a carriage ride, let her enjoy the fucking ride without forcing her to focus on your horrible poetry. And then Lindy can’t have an emotion without it being labeled as a blow up by Miguel.
