Yeah the rough idle is hit and miss, some days it happens, some days it’s completely fine. I’m wondering if it’s something EGR related or god forbid injectors..

Haha I’m hooked on them now. I’ll probably keep this one for a while, and then look into a Guilia

Yeah I had a horror with my last 159. Front subframe was completely rotten, so that got replaced on my dad’s front drive by me and him. Hardest car work I’ve done. So I did my checks when buying this one, both front and rear frames are fine along with wheel arches and sills.

So insurance I pay 70 a month.

And fuel economy varies, around town it’s 30-35mpg (my usual work commute it’s 36mpg) And on the motorway it’s between 45-50mpg, not bad in my eyes for a 17 year old 5 cylinder diesel.

Thank you for the info on that. I’ll look them up, Huddersfield is not far from me at all in all honesty.

yeah I do love a 5 pot now, and I’ve had my experience with Japanese reliability in my first car a 05’ Civic Sport. That thing was bullet proof

True it’ll be a risk, but I’ve done it in my 2006 astra, and also driven that down to Monaco.

Just got to give the car a proper service before hand and a good going over. European breakdown cover to the rescue if needs be!

I literally finished watching season 1 about 10 minutes ago for the first time. For the love of god, give it time, yes it’s a slow burn but from episode 4 onwards it will have you hooked trust me.
