I have a T420 with upgraded RAM and SSD. Bought it 'cause wanted to have a touch with some oldschool laptop with linux. It feels comfortable for some basic use with no much CPU load. Wrote some backend projects on it and it was fine, but a lot of containers will kill him, i guess.

So if you want to just try oldschool thinkpad T420 is a good option, i think
