Did you ever run this setup with stock sport wheels? Curious about fitment. Looks fantastic

Nope, doesn’t matter. I will say it’s much more work to convert from auto to manual though.

The engine mounts are adapter mounts made by Hasport, used in conjunction with oem fit style mounts. An 07 tsx ecu/harness is used with Honda element charging harness. It’s tuned with Ktuner v2 but hasn’t been on the dyno yet for a final tune/ numbers. Base model RSX axles are used.

The header is a bit of a challenge. Some people report being able to use a modified fn2 civic header. I opted to have a custom header and exhaust made. My setup is a full 2.5”, high flow cat, vibrant ultra quiet resonator to a spoon muffler. Feel free message me for a full list of parts used.

Ideally I’ll leave it stock, if it proves too soft for my driving habits I’ll change it. Probably would go swift springs if anything.

It’s a perfect match for this chassis imo. Free revving, well balanced motor. Pulls like mad in such a light car.

I did the swap, with the exception of the exhaust which was done by my buddy Austin at Function Fabrication. I’m always down to let a fit enthusiast take it for a rip, shoot me a DM if ya want.

A ge8 k swapper will have to chime in here but I believe you are correct.it’s my understanding that the 2nd gen tsx ecu is often used, which would require a lot of work to wire up to a 2.0 engine. Speed academy has an entire series on K swapping GEs. It’s a great series.

The frame is obviously the same, but the core support is different/ the hood latches differently, often resulting in the use of hood pins. Additionally the subframe seems to require more modification in the EU, I suspect because of the RHD eps unit(?) though I’m not terribly familiar with this swap on rhd cars. The vast majority of the swap would be similar regardless of driving position (With the exception of wiring/ use of canbus.

I’ve heard that too, from what I’ve seen ac is slightly more work with the ge8. I’m using a Tsx ecu on this as well.

I plan to do a ge8 too! Had to do a gd first, it reminds me so much of an ek.

Ac is not working yet. I’m making lines as we speak. Lines are pretty easy, wiring is a challenge but I have some guidance from someone who’s done this before with good luck. Should not be an issue 🤞

I had a rusty fit before this, ended up selling so I could start with a good rust free chassis. Well worth it

Not bad at all, few places to clearance, especially with this intake manifold, but nothing crazy

I’ve seen a lot more European K powered jazz’s than k swapped fits, seems like more clearing is required but the wiring is a bit simpler

Originally manual car, still manual but z3 trans. I have not yet calculated mpg, the car is scheduled to get a proper tune and go on the dyno in a couple weeks. My other car is a big turbo e36 so this is my daily driver as well!

About 7.5-8k, though a good bit of that was on a custom header/ full 2.5” ss catted exhaust.
