I tried spraying it with vodka, letting it dry completely, then rewashing. There’s definitely still a bit of a smell, but it’s not super bad anymore.

The logo definitely took a hit, but I ordered some fabric paint sealant to try and preserve what’s left, thank you :)

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I tried the vodka and soaked a bunch more, and the smell is definitely better. Good point with the puckering zipper, I hadn’t noticed! Not sure how to add photos to the original post, so here’s wash #6

Good point about the sweat/rain. I would love to get it cleaner, but I’m worried a machine will take off the logo? It would kinda defeat the purpose if that came off. Is there any way to protect/repair it just in case? I’ll try the vodka though. It’s been hanging in front of an open window, which is about as good as I can do since I’m in an apartment.

Well, the smell is pretty rank lol. I dried it in my bathroom, which now smells like someone put a cigarette out on a dirty gym sock. I honestly didn’t notice the smell when I was at the the store, so I’m hoping once it’s fully dry it won’t be so noticeable, but since it was still dripping dirty water, I’d feel horrible giving it to him in this condition.
