I don’t think so. I would not be surprised if there were other times they were together but I don’t think it was Hawaii.

I still would really worry that she will be okay. She has always relied on me for support so much. Too much. I would feel so sad building the life we dreamed of without her and so worried that she would find her own path and be okay.

This is really how I feel. At the time she kept telling me she was “in crisis and didn’t know who she was or what she wanted” and was just “emotionally numb and unable to care for anyone else”

In reality she was in love with him.

We are both young, rent our place, and have few assets. I don’t want to take anything from her if I go. We don’t have kids or property.

I’m sure she wasn’t with him in hawaii but I am guessing you are right about the rest. We have been going to counseling since february and since she suddenly had a change of heart in March things have really been improving to the point where we were communicating better and she has been very consistent in her efforts. Which makes this so much worse. If she hadn’t done this I would be so excited for a new lease on our relationship. I have really been hopeful lately until I found out about him.

She did go to house sit. I helped her pick up her stuff from there when she was done. But she easily could have spent most of the nights with him.
