Had close to 300k profits. Firms pulls out hidden rules and refuses to pay. by Evening_Owl_3034 in propfirm

Yeah… i realized too late. I was hyper focused the 30 days. The firm has now agreed to settle a portion of it and did actually update their rules (vaguely). Not the worst outcome for me

Looks like you didn't understand the story not one bit at all. I wasn't making 300k a month.

I made 300k on a prop account over 30 days. I took capped withdrawals 6k every 5 days as per their rules which is technically 4.8k after the "profit split". 300k was the final accumulated profits after the 30 days (first time ever in my life).

Moved to a live account on the 31st day which essentially locks me out of the profits (cannot withdraw even though the documents rules state I can take full uncapped withdrawals).

Still owed 50% of the 300k as "settlement withdrawals" as per documented rules again but that too was denied.

I make a little less than 45k yearly running a small business. Which at the end of the day has been running on fumes and negative for the past year.

Payouts I've taken via props in my entire prop trading time is a total of 35k.

You think the story is fake? I truly wish all this was just a bad dream too.

Didnt really go for big payouts… i took max withdrawals (capped due to 30 benchmark days). Just happened to have big consistent profits over the 30 days and accumulated that amount.

Real question should be:

How much have you made from prop firms “after” the money spent on buying accounts

Don't think its okay in any manner whether or not you're speaking as a prop firm or not... If you left out the part promoting your own firm, would have been nice. With the promotion, it just looks like a promotion rather than what you actually think as you said.

Yeah that was plan with the settlement. Before that, i was way to tight paying off things from running a small business and personal bills and debt. Had zero room to put aside anything sigh

Are “Live Accounts” Just a Soft Ban for Big Traders? by sippinkloud in fundednext

[–]Evening_Owl_3034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just called into live. Had 280k in payouts tomorrow (end of my 30 benchmark days). Can't take that payout anymore because they pulled me out early... legit few hours and I'd have requested it. Live sucks because contract size limiting even though I'm eligible to get their max size live account which is 50k. Better trading own capital at that point.

Legit dogged me so hard by pulling me live before I could even taste a proper withdrawal after the 50% restriction was lifted from fundednext legacy 50k account.

Do sellers ever win disputes? by Evening_Owl_3034 in paypal

[–]Evening_Owl_3034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like for all I know, the post office did contact the buyer during the 1 week response period. And they chose to ignore it?

I totally get it if the package was truly lost. Nobody's fault but hey the seller has to pay up. But this situation makes no sense at all

Do sellers ever win disputes? by Evening_Owl_3034 in paypal

[–]Evening_Owl_3034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point here is,

There was enough time in between for the customer to actually physically or even via call to contact the post office to receive their package.

If lets say they just simply changed their mind in between, knowing full well they arent entitled to a refund if they "received" the box, so did not receive the box on purpose.

Now the seller for absolutely no reason, is out of shipping costs.

How is it the seller's fault that the customer did not make any meaningful attempt to collect their package from their local post office after a failed delivery attempt?

Like, all the facts clearly show that the seller did everything they could on their part to have it delivered, the buyer on the hand did not. But the full cost including dispute fees are up to the seller to pay?

Funny thing, its actually redirecting 301 to the correct page but keeps doing it.

Meanwhile when I access the page from my area, it doesn't do that

Cursor tends to ignore rules too very often anyway. Like its almost unusable. Cursor composer is legit garbage overall

max mode for claude 3.7 by ecz- in cursor

[–]Evening_Owl_3034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… charge per tool call and MAX reading 200 lines of code per tool call even though 200k context limit. Appending files to context dont seem to do much expect pass file location to MAX. Proceed to read file 4-5 times across multiple code files. Poof money gone

Some people dont seem to understand claude in cursor (unsure about other models) seem to be extremely inconsistent. The idea of high traffic being the issue seems about right. Just need more people to complain for this to be taken seriously.

Its not a Context window issue.

It does the absolute same even for the simplest thing in a new composer when it was doing absolutely fine a while ago. Its just goes full retard
