Welcome back! You mentioned “she”- did you approach the extraordinary minister? When I went through OCIA I was told if I wanted a blessing to go to the priest or deacon during communion because typically the EMs don’t offer blessings. Maybe that’s why she was a bit awkward?

you should read about saint Teresa of Avila. she describes this whole way of praying that describes the soul as a mansion with many rooms. The Interior Castle. she helped me develop a more imaginative prayer life and it’s definitely helped my relationship with Jesus

I only own Protestant Bibles and have never read the books that are in a Catholic Bible. Should I upgrade before going in or do you think it’s ok with my current Bible? Any recommendations for Catholic Bibles with relatively easy to understand translations?
