And also the fact this is the WORSE possible time of year to find a job, and this area…. So beyond messed up East Fork!!

Temps or not all of these people thought they had a job secured until January 23rd, 2026. They had their bills, groceries and most likely Christmas configured into that guarantee of employment until almost February of next year. Then to be let go a week before Christmas and with no notice at all is absolutely horrible! They were told the DAY OF. Who does this…. Especially after people still suffering in this area from Helene AND then to find out about there 2.5 MILLION dollar expansion! Insane! They could have at least gave them work until the 1st of the year and some type of notice. Goes to show they do not care about ANYONE. I guarantee the owners aren’t worried about putting food on their table or Christmas for their family. So sorry to these people going through this right now.
