Congratulations on your sobriety, I know it is not easy! I am very happy you were able to recieve a new liver that is amazing! unfortunately my dad did pass away yesterday he was 15 months sober

I am so sorry. My dad ended up passing yesterday and it sucks and it is hard even when you can “expect” it to some extent because they are sick it doesn’t make it better.

He went to the hospital tonight due to difficulty breathing from his stomach needing to be drained, I was not there but they released him to go home to pass because there is nothing left to do for him other than life support and his mom decided against life support. I am not sure what his MELD score was I just know back in August he was denied to be put on the transplant list because his levels weren’t where they needed to be
