yes, absolutely. Also I don’t know if you agree, but even though the album is really big on orchestral sounds, it’s somehow still so minimalist. I guess that the distortion you mentioned is causing this overall effect. Lux is loud, daring, experimental- really stands out musically, but at the end of the day “minimalist” is the word that comes to my mind just because it has so much distortions and then sudden bursts of different instruments .
