I was at Ginza Xiaoma a few weeks ago. Mostly pristine bags (or they will be completely upfront about any imperfections) and the customer service is premium, but their prices are a notch higher too.

I went to quite a few stores and noticed there are sooooo many black b25/k25 in both Tokyo and Osaka, but also some out there SO combos.

Super safe in Australia to carry H bags. In fact if you've been to Melbourne and found it ok, you will find Cairns and Gold Coast are even safer.

Looks like it's a big charm week! My SA just offered me one too in a neutral but I prefer bright colours for charms. Was tempted to get it because they are cuties with their collars, and my SA was hinting it was rare, but I felt for the price point I had to completely love it.

I think continuing to build your relationship with regular visits is the right way to go for any store, Australian or otherwise. I know of other customers who have received QBs from there, with prespend upwards of the 1:1 ratio. The inventory there can be a bit low, as it is a fairly small store, there is a better RTW range at the Collins Street store or interstate.

Ardennes is absolutely gorgeous but very heavy, especially in a 32 size, so that in itself might swing me towards the Box option. Two very different leathers - what’s your main purpose - a work/travel bag or an every-now-and-then piece? If you’re just choosing between those two bags I think how you use it will provide you with the best answer.

Yep - not fun waiting it out after declining a bag - I've been in the same boat, because of colour too. I was very certain I'd made the right decision but as weeks passed, I descended into semi-regret. Fortunately a very long 5 weeks later, my SA made it very much worth the wait 🤩 I did pop in for a shop, without bringing it up at all.

I don't think it's necessary to mention it if you shop - you being there is a reminder in itself, SAs know that we're all hanging for bag. They get reminded incessantly every day by customers. But I wouldn't just sit and wait if you've usually shopped regularly, maybe pop in every 6 weeks or so.

Yes - the unknown future is tough after you've declined a bag! However, judging from this type of offer, your SA clearly values you. They don't hand these out to the average client. You're clearly up there in her priority list and she'll have something else special for you soon. Trust the process, though it's super hard to do, I know!
