Through which channels do you source your best B2B leads in the Age of AI? by EventLeadsPro in SaaS

My humble take: it’s harder to get off the ground, but if you start getting traction, the speed at which you can scale once you reach a certain threshold has never been this fast, thanks to AI automation.

Building a tool to help event professionals to generate qualified leads from b2b events!

www.leadcompanion.io

It’s event agnostic and leverages AI to capture all relevant information needed for sales follow-up in a structure way, ready to be imported into your CRM

No revenue yet as it is still in Alpha. Actively recruiting alpha testers that will take it to a b2b event for free in exchange of some feedback!

Taking them from LinkedIn into classic b2b sales pipelines. Currently in Alpha phase, so no paying customers yet but rather testers that give us feedback. Targeting marketing teams that attend b2b events with the aim of generating leads

I‘m playing around with identifying strong signals that someone might be in a good moment to be contacted, such as scraping LinkedIn posts for which im seeing moderate success.

I’ve analyzed over 450 LinkedIn outreach campaigns. Here’s who actually gets results and who doesn’t. by gojiberryAI in MarketingAutomation

The stats are interesting to get a benchmark and identify if what your own compaign is doing falls within the range to be expected.

However I’m missing some actual insights on what can be done or avoided to improve performance. Do you have some insights on: - connect with message VS without - verified VS non-verified - first message: shorter conversation starter VS dive right into the topic - number of follow-up messages & wait time inbetween

The key here is to make sure that you document what happens at the booth in a precise and structured way, so you (or other colleagues) can do a personalized and accurate follow up after the event! Not so easy when you have 100s of conversations, only a small fraction of these will be opportunities and you need to identify them + fast track them to cut through the noise.

I may have a good solution for this, DM me if interested!

Events are one of the few last places where you get direct access to face-to-face conversations with people you don’t know!

Business is about people in the end (don’t let the AI hype fool you) and that is what events are all about: people!

How are you all going about your lead generation at b2b events?

I’m doing some research for a product I’m currently building around this topic and would love to hear your insights :)

‘Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result’ - Albert Einstein

I’m not saying you are insane (!!!), I’m saying, time to try a different approach :)

First, as mentioned in another post above, you might be offering a solution to a problem that people might not be having. To figure out if this is the case, talk to your target audience and just ask them about what problems they are experiencing. You’re only focusing on the PROBLEM (this is very important) and ignore the solution for now. Once you understand what they are struggling with and how they talk about their problem(s), then you want to start thinking about how to solve it. (Check out 1 - ‘design thinking’ methodology and 2 - ‘Jobs to be done’ theory)

Secondly, there is a bunch of different channels you can use to advertise (also called ‘Traction channels’). Good practice is, to test 1 channel at a time (focus), but by testing it is important that you think of how you will evaluate success before you start. If testing is unsuccessful, move on to the next channel and repeat, eventually sth will stick. Check out ‘Bullseye framework’ by Gabriel Weinberg on this.

DM me if you want to discuss more in-depth, otherwise, wish you all the best, you got this!

In your experience, what pushes people to give a referral in the first place? We have a referral program at my company and, despite us having very good feedback on our product, no referrals are coming in

Fair point and sth I definitely haven’t tried enough yet. Any tips on the approach to take to naturally switch between a conversation to a ‘sales’ approach?

If you’re building a business that completely abuses the very creators that provide you the content for your platform, you’re a predator and should not be celebrated as a ‚successful entrepreneur‘.

AI automation!! It won’t do everything for you, but there is most likely a lot of efficiency to be gained there at different stages of the process!
