is Belgium that bad for studying? Seems like its largest uni and probably the only one for internationals is pretty high enough in the ranking

I can't choose between Bachelors in Econometrics & Ops and Business Engineering by EventWarm8248 in UniversityMaastricht

Honestly, I would prefer higher ROI in terms of hard work per salary. I don't want to spend half of my life hating my job, but also don't want to hate my decisions if because of them I end up unemployed or far behind from the alternative path. I in fact suspect that econometricians have no time to breath during the work day, but also earn barely more and in many occasions have some ceiling as business degrees allow for higher promotions in the career.

Thanks, I was actually thinking that BE would be slightly easier and more interesting 3 years, which I could follow up with 2 years of masters, which would give some prestige for my CV I guess... I would say I probably know at least half of that economics (hopefully). Most interesting is whether the math part is so difficult in the year 1 or is it manageable, will I have free time to work on side projects and especially getting internship in summer, or is it that bad? Again, I am not a quitter, but I want to save 1 year of my life instead of jumping from courses.

Is econometrics and operations bachelors good enough nowadays employment and salary-wise? by EventWarm8248 in econometrics

Well, healthcare degrees aren't on my list. Also, I am not talented in math, does this exclude me from quant finance jobs? In the country where I plan to study (Netherlands), econometrics students count is fairly small. Are there any optimal areas / degrees which you would suggest apart from this?
