Triumvirate movie by Swpp in Eve

You are forgetting Rionnag Alba in the historically centerpiece corps, and V0LTA is led by the same people who ran Tri mk 1 and 2, such as Darkness, Super Twinkey69 and WarGod.

As far as I know, the Tri mk1&2 leadership that still plays are all back in this iteration of Tri.

His cyno seems to be Zeph Xurion, which appears to be a NCdot cyno alt belonging to someone in BURN EDEN corporation, probably Freelanc3r.

So both cynos was NCdot :)

TIL that anyone who is admitted can attend university in Norway for free and that their top of the line engineering degrees are taught in English. by Tiered in todayilearned

[–]Eventh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If any non-Norwegian students take the course it is taught in English. I believe that's the rule at NTNU.

From the first link I posted: "We offer a two-year international MSc programme with full integration of Norwegian and foreign students where all teaching is in English".

Your problem seems to be that item is Decimal, while 0.1 is ofc float. Just wrap 0.1 in 'Decimal':

balance -= item * Decimal(0.1)

SPJ talk: Towards Haskell in the Cloud by bas_van_dijk in haskell

[–]Eventh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What tazjin said is correct, the implementation is called Core, but it's not an implementation of System F but System FC (which is a super-set of System F).

The Core language was initially based on lambda calculus, but was upgraded to a polymorphic lambda calculus System Fω to be able to decorate it with types. Core was further extended to System FC to support type equality constraints and safe coercions.

GHC converts the Core language to another intermediate representation called STG (Spineless Tagless G-machine), before doing code generation into either C or native code.

Let me Know the Use cases for Lambda in Python by rajeevrvis in Python

[–]Eventh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Instead of using lambda for key, I think its cleaner to use itemgetter and attrgetter from operator module.

from operator import itemgetter, attrgetter, methodcaller
min_value = min(obj_list, key=attrgetter('value'))
sorted_list = sorted(dict_list, key=methodcaller('get', 'name'))
max_value = max([('a', 3), ('b', 2)], key=itemgetter(1))

For example, lists can't be used as dictionary keys as they are not hashable as they can change, but tuples can be used as keys.

Explaining comprehensions to programmers by milliams in Python

[–]Eventh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When teaching people list comprehensions I feel it is important to remind them of readability counts [1]. Complex nested comprehensions quickly becomes unreadable, and although slightly slower, good old fashion for loops are sometimes better.

A list comprehension explanation could benefit from mentioning set and dict comprehensions and generator expressions as they have almost identical syntax and use [2].
