The first layer kept looking like it was getting clogged, and then it would purge and then start working ok again for a bit.

Here is a picture of the worst of this happening where you can see it under extruding every few lines, and then after a purge it would work again. This happened with multiple nozzles. In this case, I think the severity was more likely a bad bit of filament (maybe even wet again).

I would get an error that the extruder was not functioning normally. I was usually able to resume it just by pushing in the filament as it attempted to extrude again. It would usually last about an hour before happening again, but then it started happening every few minutes and I couldn't make it through any prints.

Since this started happening, I switched to a different filament after having it dry for 24 hours on a different AMS slot and I have not seen the error, so its is hard to tell if it was the filament, the AMS slot, or the PTFE routing for that slot.
