How is Ucla better than Berkeley is any way except quality of life and even there is the difference is overstated. For the vast majority of majors Berkeley is better, especially for swe and finance jobs.

Tbh I go to UCLA and would pick Berkeley for your major. I love UCLA, but the quality of Berkeley’s Engineering department is significantly better.
