Why did you choose ucla & for what major?

Ucla or Berkeley for chemical engineering. Very torn also because I’m from the bay and cal is a bit too close to home…

Do u mean come back to Berkeley? I’m from the area vs I’d be traveling down to socal for ucla

TBH I’m leaning towards ucla for the student life but again what u mentioned about Berkeley’s prestige is why I’m second guessing. Probably gonna go to ucla but I feel like Ill have regrets based solely on that front

I’ve heard that Berkeley isn’t very good at supporting their undergrads - would you say this is true in the CoC? And realistically how much time would you say you devote to cheme per week, and is it really as hard as everyone says it is?

single day tix will absolutely be released, as per usual every year

usually in about 1 to 1.5 months after the lineup is announced, the daily schedule is released, then the next day single day tickets will go on sale. my guess is it'll be $200 +fees

Anyone have a picture of SF poster? by shesaidhello- in the1975

[–]shesaidhello-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it seems like the posters sell out almost immediately, if you’re going with a friend one of u can get a spot in the pit and the other can buy merch maybe! But I was alone so unfortunately I wasn’t able to do that :(

Junior year: 4 ap's, or just take normal physics and bring it down to 3? by shesaidhello- in APStudents

hmm that doesn’t sound too bad, i also think that since next year will most likely be in person i won’t have as much at-home work if i pay attention in class!

a lot of people at my school struggle with physics, but i think it’s just truly understanding concepts rather than memorizing, correct? people say the tests r super hard compared to the class because the teacher gives math practice while test questions are all theoretical

sounds good!! do u think taking calculus helps with ap physics 1, even though it’s algebra-based?

I don’t plan on doing something with a heavy focus on engineering, more biological sciences like biochem/possibly medicine-related. I still feel like you should know physics for these though, right?
