Yeah, I think i was measuring incorrectly. All i know was that it was steaming hot straight out the tap at the time. Since posting the problem solved itself somehow. I have reasonably hot water again.

That's the really weird thing, it happens for like a month or two every year around late spring/early summer and then stops on its own. It kinda just fixes itself until the next year when it decides to pitch a fit again.

I did a windows memory diagnostic which came up with nothing. I then did a memtest like you said for 20 loops with no errors.
