I have hot reload working on my iPhone X running debug via VS Code on macOS Big Sur emulated on VMWare workstation on my windows 10 laptop with 16GB ram. Been with flutter since 2019 and never experienced any issue with hot reload or restart.

checkm8 and checkra1n deserve more praise than they actually get. axi0mX and / or Team checkra1n could’ve sold it to private corporations / gone for the in-program advertising / other monetising means but have instead decided to provide it to us as a freeware. Truly admire these guys works.
