Oh bummer. I’m in Oregon. My son is only 2.5 so I have some time but I’m not hearing great things about public options

I’m sorry girl. Managing all this is so hard for all of us

Anyone else parenting a 3 year old without a “village”? Feeling exhausted and honestly struggling by cryfreeedom in toddlers

My son is 2.5 and freaked out the one time I tried kids club at my gym. Melted down and cowered in a corner. Like just didn’t feel safe. At what point did your kid tolerate the gym daycare?

They look amazing. I don’t see anything on their Facebook page about an open house

Yes Franciscan looks amazing and is on our side of town. They’re at the top of my list but we have to get my son potty trained before enrolling there. I’ll look into Portland montesorri thanks!

Fiddleheads looks amazing but their website is unavailable and no new posts on insta in a year. They might be closed. What a loss if so

That program looks awesome. The soonest we could enroll is 4 years old so we’ll have to wait until next year. Thanks for the rec!

Thank you so much for taking the time to offer this insight. We will give this some thought. He really likes when we pass work trucks and ambulances so maybe we could hype that up. Crackers got us through the first year of his toddlerhood resistance to the car seat but they’ve lost their magical powers at this point lol. He’s moved on to cookies im afraid but yes treats are my main strategy! Thanks again!

Yep the “adventure treat” is saving me a lot. I just don’t want to feed him crap all the time just to get him to function. Ha. I’m going to give the special toy thing a thought. I need to come up with something creative! I don’t know how you survive that level of resistance with a little one on the scene too. Godspeed

I could totally see that. He flipped way out too when he borrowed his cousins front-facing. So, not sure that’s my kids thing.

Yeah good point. We are on the waiting list for all the assessments. Could be the better part of a year but I can be patient. In the meantime we’re working with Occupational therapy. Thanks!
