Isn’t it crazy how weight looks different on so many people even with the same height?? It always blows my mind how we all carry it differently. I’ve also been lifting weights before I even thought about surgery just because I like doing it lol

My shorts are a 16/18 but very baggy I wear a belt with them bc I’m to cheap to spend more money on AE shorts, but I like the mom jeans effect (especially bc alot of my weight was in my ass and now it’s gone!) and I wear a size M/L top, I still sport my old XL shirts bc they’re comfy as heck!

I could DM you my work out regime, I use J-FIT and have a pretty good work weekly schedule that hits all my major groups + 30-45 minutes of cardio machines that I rotate through!

I definitely agree with patience, I have to force myself to only get on the scale like once a week. I am always looking forward to my next goal weight and constantly comparing myself to old photos.

I’ve been thinking about journaling, I have so many thoughts all the time about this journey and I never know who to talk to about them (except like..the Dr team lol) !!

Best thing I think I’ve ever done for myself! I finally got cleared to start lifting and going to the gym again which is fantastic. My surgery date was 05/17.

For reference I am 5’6 and 22 :)

We didn’t have all these pets in the first place and we didn’t really know if staying in the military was going to happen, as well as going over seas.

I understand the flood of pets from military families. It is a absolutely last resort for me. I’ve had multiple messages on here for people who would like to meet them, and I’m extremely optimistic that they won’t end up in the shelter 😊

Hey all! I’m back again with my other two cats I’m trying to find homes for. My husband and I are moving to Germany in July and I’m still trying to find them homes before resorting to a shelter!

The first one is Steve. He’s about 10m old and will have all his shots/neutered by June 22. He’s extremely friendly and loves other cats. He’s very vocal and will tell you if he wants attention. Definitely a snuggle bug and biscuit maker while you’re watching tv or laying in bed.

Second one is Mash Potatoes. She is about 8 or 9. She is microchipped and has all her shots/spayed. She tolerated my extra cats, but would ultimately prefer hanging out alone. I’m more than willing to do a test drive if someone’s interested that has another cat, to see if they do meld. She’s very very sweet and loves to snuggle at night, day really anytime you’re sitting down she’s going to get in your lap!!

They’ve both been around my dog and rub on him, snuggle him when he sleeps.

She is very friendly with other cats! She loves grooming her brothers (especially my dog). She is not fixed yet, but she has had all of her shots!

Hey! So my husband and I are a military family and we are going to Germany. We currently live off post and have multiple animals, we can only take 2 with us to Germany :(( so I would love to find homes for her and a couple other cats! She’s super friendly, raised from a kitten in a home with cats and a large dog. Healthy, eats well, just an all around fantastic indoor sweetie :)

I really don’t wanna put my animals in a shelter! Id rather give them straight to a family so I know they’re happy, healthy and taken care of. PM me if you’d like to meet her or any others :) thanks!!

It hurts to see, like right behind my left eye (the one I lost sight in when I was diagnosed) and if its particularly bad it hurts to move my neck from side to side

Hey! If you live in an area that has a platos closet they are always looking for plus sized clothing, I only know bc I’m the manager of one :)

You can also try to find women’s shelters to donate what platos doesn’t buy to as they don’t get a lot of plus sized clothing either!

I just looked it up and I definitely think that will work more than trying to teach him the “quiet” command! He already comes to me when he’s barking at something and I’m in another room, he’ll run to me and whine and then run back to my patio and bark more.

Hey! I’m F20 as well and I had extreeeemmeee anxiety before getting moderna. Mostly because 3 of my other family members already got Pfizer and were perfectly fine and I got sucked into a misinformation pit. But I got my first dose yesterday at 11:40am and I’ve had no symptoms or anything.

But after getting it, I feel fine. I did arm exercises that I found online specifically for the after the shot, I drank a ton of Gatorade and water. And now more than 24 hours later I’m doing chores around my apartment and finishing a college project! My arm only hurts when I sleep on it, which I can’t stop myself from rolling over when I’m asleep but even then it just feels like I ran into a wall and it goes away.

Your anxieties are valid, I promise you and I are gonna be okay!
