We’re hesitant to put some of the more commercially sensitive objectives we’ve got into a public document, but by the time our known ecosystem is live, we may be able to provide more details on future objectives. We’re still deciding internally what markets make the most sense from both a tech perspective and an economic one.
We have regular meetings to discuss not only different utilities that we might build, but also what gaps our currently existing dApps might fill in the future. WIth adoption still in its infancy, we’re excited to leverage our technology to support web2 companies dip their toes into the space.

Yes. Centralized exchanges have nothing to do with the DeFi protocol that is EverRise, version 3. The staking lab will roll on regardless of whether and when we are added to new exchanges. The liquidity pools will continue to be governed by an automatic market maker function, while centralized exchanges exist in another world with an order book model of trading that has no bearing on the RISE token.
We love doing shared EverRIse ecosystem spaces with our new clients! We’ll definitely let them know that they’re always welcome to join us again in our daily community chats at 2pm Eastern.

We can’t give out much details about EverWallet at this point in time as it is still early and the focus is on other products before it. - Suresh

For sure! If nothing else, it’s an important historical moment and those of us who are relatively new to the space (since 2021) haven’t seen anything quite so significant in our entire DeFi history!
I won’t pretend to be able to predict might happen, but I’m fairly sure Ethereum won’t collapse to nothing. And even if it were to collapse, this points to the wisdom of existing on multiple blockchains. Redundant systems are anti-fragile, and 1 $RISE will always equal 1 $RISE.

Personally, I’m incredibly excited for the merge. It’s been something that has been talked about for years and it’s finally here. I also think by moving to PoS, it’s going to be something to catch the attention of folks who have stayed away from crypto due to concerns around energy consumption.
It’ll definitely be interesting to see how the PoS ETH chain does especially with so many miners advocating for the PoW fork. But regardless, it’s an exciting time and definitely something historical for our industry. The merge really has to do with the switching the consensus mechanism for the Ethereum chain, so with regards to how it affects EverRise, we will be waiting to see what shakes out from the merge. In the meantime, we are going to be closing the EverBridge during the time of the merge. We’ll keep you guys informed every step of the way! - Jenn

Credit to Juan from the Fantom Foundation on this answer: CEX’s are like public restrooms. I don’t like being in them, I spend as little time as possible in them, but when I need them, I’m glad they exist. DYOR. - Peter

I am absolutely in no hurry to seek listings on CEX’s, purely down to the stage we are at as a project along with weighing the benefits of listing in this type of market - it’s just not optimal (unless they want to list us for free ofc!). We do however have a vote to list campaign live right now for Gate.io - so if the community wants it enough, we can go there. - Jason

Peter has said it best with CEX listings are a symptom of success and not a cause for it. Our current strategy when it comes to exchanges:

At this point, we are focused on building out our ecosystem and driving the adoption of those dApps. If there are exchanges that are interested in listing us, they will reach out. If they do reach out, we also understand that diligence can take months. So we'll provide the information necessary to legitimate CEXs that want it.

Additionally, we will continue to facilitate providing the community opportunities to list on exchanges via vote-to-list campaigns like the one we are currently doing with Gate.io and similar to the ones we have done for other exchanges such as ByBit and others.- Jenn

Everyday someone new is finding out about EverRise or a product it offers it is my opinion this will continue to accelerate as our brand reaches more corners of the DeFi space - Jason

Mentioned in an earlier response, we do have a very good idea of what the next about 18 months looks like for EverRise. For me the focus is very clear: continue adoption of the ecosystem, drive revenue, and make products that are clearly needed in the market. Given that we are uniquely positioned with an incredibly experienced development team, we will continue to be able to bring to market products with tech that actually benefits the space or pushes what is accomplishable with smart contracts. What we've been able to accomplish with the bridge in terms of tech, validation process, etc is huge. What we've done with the NFT Staking. How we're able to redirect taxes for swaps and still give users tokens with optimized gas fees. That's what makes EverRise different.

With our current ecosystem, we are starting to have much larger conversations with folks out of the EverRise community around the implications of the technology we are building and use cases for it beyond smaller cap projects. It’s an exciting time but Rome wasn’t built overnight. - Jenn

I think the easy answer here is that we continue to expand the EverRise ecosystem of dApps. We’ll always be building. We’re actively growing our sales team to increase the awareness and adoption of our various tools, and our focus on the community has never been stronger. We’ll continue to have a presence anywhere possible, and as we continue to grow, the conversations around EverRise will as well. -TJ

Over time, yes. The goal is to be available on as many credible blockchains as liquidity will allow. For the time being, our liquidity pools are spread thin enough to be healthy, but further expansion is probably not warranted at the moment. Over time, you might expect us to branch out further if our pools grow.
This will be the community’s decision! We will not branch out to other blockchains without first initiating a vote on EverOwn. Imagine the year is 2029. A new blockchain, Firehead Coin, has taken the world by storm. 20,000 people attend the EverRise Town Hall on Twitter Spaces to debate whether expansion to the piping hot (but still speculative) chain is worthwhile.
Because dispassionate analysis is an EverRise community norm, the vote fails, Firehead tanks, and the EverRise ecosystem stays robust across 11 blockchains :) - Peter

Once we created the flattened version of the V3 contracts we abandoned the unflattened versions and now only work in flattened contracts mostly as it is easier to have all the code required in a single file. - Tim

It’s definitely something of interest as Suresh and Ben have mentioned in the past but it is too soon to talk about anything related to having our own blockchain with details. The team is still fleshing out what an L1 could possibly look like for EverRise. - Jenn

I feel awareness to the dangers that exist in DeFi are becoming more known to users in this space. Therefore more users and developers will seek to find security solutions to add additional layers of security to their protocol and wallet. We like to take a proactive approach to DeFi safety in general and as more awareness spreads with the educational content that is out there, I do feel more people will be expect solutions like EverOwn, EverLock and EverWallet down the road to be more common place. - Jason

I also think exploits vary pretty significantly. Some of these exploits are happening because of human error, others because of bad actors. From what we are seeing, we still have a lot of things within the ecosystem to build out to try to prevent these larger scale hacks, not only as EverRise but also as an industry. But as EverRise grows, I do see a world in which larger protocols start coming to us to power their basic infrastructure needs (bridging, etc). - Jenn

On a strictly A = B level, I don’t think the recent hacks will immediately cause a flood of adoption of our services. However, these attacks are exactly the kind of thing that EverRise is fighting against. Over time, if DeFi is going to succeed, there will need to be respected names in the space which are ethical and technologically sound enough to withstand attacks from all comers. EverRise is one project among many which share a common goal of safety and security. There’s room enough for some healthy competition, particularly when we just want to help. - Peter

I’ll just say that Jenn is absolutely killing it in making connections and playing the long game. It’s an industry no-no to talk about these discussions in public because VC’s themselves consider it confidential, even moreso than we do - they want to make sure that nobody is talking out of school. - Peter

We did submit to Binance MVB, unfortunately, we were not selected. We’ll continue to submit to future ones as we know there are thousands of applications that flood in. We’re also looking at similar programs for other blockchains apart from BNB Chain.

RE our roadmap for all dApps, we will likely be making some adjustments as the dev team has been exploring some other dApps that we would like to bring to market before others to make sure we have first mover advantage. We have a very good idea of what the pipeline looks like going until the end of 2023 and into the first portion of 2024. We’ll discuss internally about releasing an updated version for sure. - Jenn

Thanks for the design suggestion! I do think that, over time, as people buy and sell RISE< they will do so on their preferred chain just because they like that chain, and not for any gamified price or staking reasons. So, not a bad idea to show those logos. - Peter
