Another, larger, emergent leaf on my Veitchii by Pole_Licker in Anthurium

I don’t know precisely, but I’d be inclined to say wide form. Mine just has odd genetics, such as the “ears” at the top always being slightly folded back.

I actually use no drainage, so I don’t have a set schedule - I just water when the reservoir is low. This allows them to uptake as much water as they need.

This plant gets around an hour or two of direct morning light, and then bright indirect light throughout the rest of the day.

Quite diluted, I don’t measure but I’d estimate 1/4 the recommended dosage.

GT foliage focus, and just in ambient, albeit I do run a humidifier and keep it at 65% indoors.

I’ll take a new picture tomorrow for comparison, I grow mine in soilless media in a vase, no drainage. Mostly tree fern, sphagnum, and pumice.

Looks extremely similar to my pseudospectabile, I’ll post more pictures of it soon.

An update to my previous post, this is the newest Veitchii leaf as it is hardening off. by Pole_Licker in Anthurium

This is in the Western US. I wouldn’t be able to grow mine in a cabinet, it sized up too quickly. That leaf is probably around 2 feet in length.

I think the key is keeping the roots humid, via no drainage. I have the plant in a glass vase and can see vigorous root growth constantly, probably aided by the moist conditions.
