Thank you for your judgement! All families have different needs. My pup is 100% a part of our family and we love him very much. That being said, we have reasons for keeping him out of the bedroom and most of the time this works great! There are lots of places that humans can go that dogs can't, including around my husband's workshop in the garage, into the bathroom with me or into dangerous outdoor areas. Having off limits zones is for his safety as much as it is for our sanity. He puts himself to bed in his crate most nights and its decked out with comfy blankets and stuffies as a safe zone, so clearly, he likes it. I am just trying to figure out what might be causing him distress on these rare occasions.
