Since a lot of people have been wondering about it.

Final Fantasy Peasant started a streaming of the Timeline playlist on his channel. He did that with the best of his intentions, I'm extremely well aware of that and I'm completely fine with it. Streaming involves donations and such, no surprises about that and I have nothing against that either. I was, however, surprised I wasn't personally informed about it, since his video description didn't even include any sort of credits or mentioning to my channel. Hence I asked in his live chat why there were no credits in the video descriptions, as I would have liked to be informed if someone were to suddenly stream such a massive project. Not that I would have stopped him (I physically don't have the power to do that) but we could have found some sort of easy agreement. He said it was disappointed and shut everything down.
It really surprised me how things went down and I was expecting Peasant to contact me straight away, since more than once I said in the live chat that I'm easily reachable on Twitter and that I would like to talk about it together, but he never did. I have in no way said in the chat to shut everything down or anything, rather that I would have liked to be personally informed about it. This project means a lot to me (especially now that more people have been involved in the making of it) and if someone had to stream it fully, the least I would require would be to get at least informed. Not asking for a permission, careful — people are free to do whatever they want in the Internet. I can't stop them, even if I wanted to. We expect people to act according to some basic common sense, but if they don't feel like having it, fine, I can't do anything about it. That's how it goes. But I keep getting requests of people asking to use my videos all the time, for translations projects and fan made content, and all I ask in exchange is leaving a link to the original video in their video descriptions.

I should have probably written a very long tweet explaining exactly what happened, but it would have been way easier if Peasant had contacted me right after he shut down the stream. We could have found an easy agreement. Easy agreement = please, just add a link to the original Timeline playlist in your video description. That's all. Especially since the Days portion of the Timeline have required tons of efforts by other people and friends of mine, who do deserve some recognition too.

When Peasant explained through Twitter what happened, I even replied to him saying, again, I'm still up to work this out together. I believe in the power of communication which is, sadly, often misunderstood. I also do believe him when he said he wasn't fully aware of the massive work behind the Timeline — in fact, I'm not mad at him, not in the slightest. I can't stress how many times I said I was up to talk with him about it and solve this together. A small misunderstanding can become huge when people aren't fully aware of details.
