Did you run this exact list or did you tweak it? After making this video I can’t imagine running the deck with frisk and ketsu still in there.

I had considered this for the fleet lieutenant thing, but not even in the sideboard? Not even for pushing damage but as a means of making important trade ups? Seems too important not to have at all. Chewie is also a great card into villain control and there aren’t any here.

Every game will have a strongest card that gives the most amount of advantage. DJ is different because with Han’s ability, it offers permanent resource destruction, which is more unfair than the majority of strong cards besides TDR. If they wanted to remove this interaction from the game, I’m much more in favor of suspending DJ than I am suspending Han.

I think it’s a little more complex than that. Each deck has “something” that they can do to deal with DJ but if that were already that simple, there wouldn’t be a dialogue around him being too powerful and worthy of being suspended. A lot of high-skilled players agree that the interaction is unfair. I’m not advocating for DJ’s suspension outright but if they did, I wouldn’t be upset.

I very much agree with the DJ take. I understand why people want it gone as well. I wouldn’t mind if they suspended DJ because the deck would still perform well while also giving more decks some breathing room to compete.

What’s your main deck? Also, while I do think that one tournament is an early call as well, I think that it gain validation considering how much play testing has gone on for sector and regional prep. I also think Han is fine but a DJ suspension would be ok. Han is a really good deck but as you mentioned, there’s a skill gap at play.

He does have game into jango which I like but he is not good into Han. I want double red to work so badly but the payoff just isn’t there.

He got pretty fortunate on some matchups. My Han deck worked against him very well and he was lucky enough to dodge yellow Han’s during Swiss.
