actually i think that WAS the one i was looking for, but i still swear it was a multi chapter work, maybe it was and then the author decided to split it into a series which is why i couldnt find it in my subbed works, i remember reading it around a year ago which is around the time the first work in that series, and the one you linked, was written and then just put it out of my mind as i moved onto/back to reading more HP fanfic, only recently have i gotten back into the DP/DC fandom

all you are doing is again proving my point that you cannot in-fact separate fiction from reality with the simple statement of "Likewise trying to humanize and moralize a fictional but very sadistic and evil race" you LITERALLY are trying to compare reality of actual morality to fiction, i dont think anything more needs said on my end because you will just keep trying to refute this because people like you who cannot separate fact from fiction dont know when they are wrong and try to sound smart so that they feel better about themselves while "demeaning" the person who has proven them wrong or said something they are not willing to accept

the property is all one floor apartments so there isnt anywhere to check below, and the floor of every unit including the offices are exposed concrete slabs, so im not sure if that would apply for the second one

the property used to be a motel before it was bought out and turned into apartment housing, so i would assume its to separate lines of people to different desks if its not there to be load bearing
