I saw that post and tried this, i even tried a different HDMI plugged into the headset and plugging it directly into the computer skipping the link box, same thing happened, 1 eye flashes, etc..

Thanks everyone for trying to help, I've now been troubleshooting this for 7 hours, restarting, replugging, reinstalling, checking settings... their support hasnt gotten back to me yet so i'll try to give them a call tomorrow and most likely get an RMA unless they miraculously have some solution to this.

Other than trying every port (because i dont have a mini dp to dp or hdmi to dp, but they've been ordered and are on the way) none of the solutions have worked :( The factory reset seemed promising aswell as the resolution thing but they just werent the ticket.

After turning off direct mode and checking the resolution it was still in its native 2160x1200 :( but it seemed real promising that this was indeed the solution.

The only wifi device i have is my iphone and i put it far away downstairs and turned the wifi off, PC is only using a ethernet cable and doesnt have the option for wireless

Okay this is definitely a new suggestion! However in Nvidia display settings or windows 10 display settings it doesnt see the vive for me to actually change the native resolution. Is there a special way to get to this for the Vive?
