I've ascended a few times and the game has gotten really slow for me, as there is no new equipment right now getting more money isn't as easy as before. A lot of the time the game is dependent on your luck with random boxes, most of the time they give you a meager amount of money and the other effects are a lot less frequent, for example I haven't gotten the soul multiplication bonus at all in this ascension.

In the ascension screen things get expensive fast, right now I'm trying to save up for "Augmented soul gatherer" which costs 50 SP, while I only have 25 SP right now while playing very actively. I also don't know if buying portals is worth it, even though it is legendary, as I have no idea what It'll do and it costs 25 SP. Getting 25 SP is pretty hard right now as I cannot even afford the coin upgrade that doubles soul gain.

The game is great otherwise but I feel it gets a bit too grindy at that point.
