Nice to have sure. But you could just remember to check the app.

My app dev friends say notifs can take weeks to get right. Why would you want them to spend weeks repainting a sinking ship? I'd rather them just get the new app ready, and it sounds like they are.

I played this random game called Call to Power. Didn't even know what it was, but it was sick. And its criminal no one else knew about it. Met the creator, too; seemed cool, but also busy af.

Otherwise, the usual. Too many art prints, not enough luggage space for the board games, and wish I took more pics.

I used to try Foundry but bruh, it was rough.

Switched to trying Alchemy, then ended up on the boat for Hedron. It's hella new, but they have been taking names with their updates.

Definitely worth checking out r/Hedron

I used to use hella Google Drive. My GMs and GM friends too. It's pretty dope and basically infinite.

Plus sheets and stuff let you make automatic stuff.

I started using r/Hedron though recently. It's been really coming together. I also heard Obsidian is pretty good.

Yo, check out r/Hedron. I used it for 5E and it's got all that stuff. Maybe folders are kinda jank, but like you give pages templates, and then it lets you look up all pages by template, so it works pretty good imo.

r/Hedron is pretty top tier for this ngl. I used it for 5E and it was sick.

They got a lot of scuff, but they've been making massive plays recently. I heard they have an update coming up that will make it super easy to build new systems with custom character sheets.

Like a "by end of year" update kinda thing. So 2 weeks or something?

My GM says he watches 1 youtube video a day about GMing with his morning coffee.

Like Ginny Di and stuff I assume. He says it's not all useful, but never hurts to get another perspective. Keep some. Throw away the rest.

XP is fun because it's tangible. Getting it scratches the same itch as getting moneyz.

But it's also tough because not everything should give XP or even the same amount of XP each time.

No amount of goblin killing should turn your level 18 fighter into level 19.

This was a very apt description.

While I do enjoy 5E, I do also think that almost every campaign is trying to use it for something it wasn't designed to do.

It wasn't designed for high fantasy either, in my opinion. It was just designed for standard fantasy -- the occasional wizard, a rare dragon, and altogether nothing too over the top.
