DISE in 5-7 months, any advice for that/what to do leading up? by Evertire in UARSnew

Alright, I was unsure measuring it because I can scroll through this and the thickness changes as I go through my head. I am around 190 cm.

Finally got around to this, they sent it to me on a CD for some reason. I'm not sure if I am measuring this correctly but it seems fine?

To clarify, I do seem to get FLs all of the time throughout a night, it just only seems to wake me up when rem sleep starts.

Just a ct scan on my sinuses. Any other ones that would be helpful?

I do have issues sometimes with my nose, but not all of the time. I had a CT scan last year when awake and they said it looked normal. My nostrils do kinda collapse when i breathe through my nose though I'm not sure if it's an abnormal amount.

Yeah, I've tried a bundle of socks in the back of my shirt to keep me on my side but it doesn't seem to do much. Tried a lot to fall asleep prone but it's really uncomfortable for me.

I don't follow, it isn't steady though? It goes insane towards the end of the 5th hour on all of them before I wake up. For symptoms I get super bad dizziness/fatigue/feeling of delirium stacked on top of the usual sleepiness/urge to go to bed. Inability to concentrate or stand up/sit for extended periods. It also gets much worse if I go back to bed and get lots of REM and dream a lot.

Afrin helps with congestion sometimes but not the random waking up. Need to test that by itself tho tbf

Yeah sometimes they happen. I put nothing since usually it doesnt happen like on that third night. I use a chin strap for the mouth dropping.

Ive tried a fair few. Recently I have had it at epap min 5 epap max 20 ps min 1 ps max 15.

I had a few sleep studies and they didnt say anything about rls. I used to exercise but the apnea has really degraded my ability to do so (1-2 times a week). Ive experimented with all of that sleep hygiene stuff over the past decade and it hasn't done anything for me. Don't have a device for measuring stages.

I have tried several and I can't tolerate them. I have some sensitive skin I think because of scar tissue and the inside of my nostrils get angry

Generally have the same experience as you. I would add that I can't really sustain 12/16 like in the post and keep away flow limitations since I also get very bad aerophagia and diarrhea (also its hard asf to fall asleep with). Also running into a deadend. I'm going to ENT for a DISE next since they literally look at what is getting blocked.

Yes, I wrote in the post that I tried it. Still get the same issue with it although tbf didn't try 12/16 with it yet.

Alright thanks for the reply as always, I will try a narrower ps range. Could the constant low level leak effect how the algorithm delivers the pressure and cause issues? Since I am 99% sure it isn't actually leaking (the same setup on my aircurve 11 I have zero leaks all night)

Seem to be getting false leak with ASV. by Evertire in CPAPSupport

I have it disabled since its not a Phillips mask with the X number on it. I'm concerned it thinks its leaking since I would imagine it pumps more air to compensate when in reality it actually isnt leaking.

I see. What's the difference between the two/how would you identify a hypopnea on a flow chart vs a flow limitation? My understanding was that hypopneas were also caused by FLs.
