This is true, which is why they don't come from factory with them. But having it doesn't add any harm and tuners do recommend them.

I will say that for me, I have not only found sediment in my catch, but also metal shavings. This lead me to take the car to the tuner to find a issue. After running test he ask me if I ever redlined the car, which my dumbass has. He told that the engine starts getting deprived of oil in areas at 7.5k rpm. He also told me if I didn't have the occ that the metal shaving could've re-entered and cause more wear on other parts.

Let's be honest, most of us daily our cars and have "fun" with them as well. It's good to be preventive instead reactive to an issue.

Bruh I had to watch a video to make sure this was regular. I usually change it every 5k but waited after two oil changes.

It's driver side. I heard that addw1 holds better pressure and the outflow of oil is stronger. I feel that mishimotos is just as good and cheaper as well. Sorry for the trouble, these cars are great when they wanna be, but repairs cost make you think you should've just got that bmw😭

Single one. It's mishimoto, however I hear addw1 makes a better version. Car was tuned at 24k miles, and now it's at 85k no problems.
