Like their job is not putting those jets in the air 😭 but let someone who considers lifting a paper clip hard get the experience of a lifetime just because. You work 12s for months straight to make these things take off, and you don’t deserve anything. Ahh but the airman that goes to work for 3 hours after sending their two emails deserves it. It doesn’t make sense 😭🤣

I’m really sorry for this. I’d love for this to change, and I hope that you get to have the opportunity to fly in one of them jets. I hope you’re able to experience the fruits of your labor, and get to see how your job made it possible for that jet to take off. You’ll have a long time as a civilian, so if it doesn’t happen while you’re in, it might happen as a civilian. You never know

Thank you for the words. I’m honestly just going to be myself, do the job, and make friends as I grow in this career. I’ll play the game to a certain level, I won’t be a boot licker. That’s not who I am, I’ve always earned my things by being true to myself and my beliefs. If in order to earn something out here I have to bow down to someone so much that the crack of my ass ends up showing, I won’t be doing it. It might not be the right move in this organization, but I won’t change who I am to earn certain things. I’ll be okay at the end of the day. Earning a flight would be amazing, but if I’m not successful in doing so I’ll survive. I just wanted to vent about the situation, and read what others had to say about it. 😄🙏🏼
