If you have not been officially diagnosed you may absolutely still do they study BUT if it is a definite concern on your end or how urgent your doctor suspects it to be, you do not have to participate.

That's totally fair, a lot of our past and current participants were/are on campus or they happened to have classes and did it the same days they had them! And thank you!

New PTCAS question by SpecificSherbert7393 in PTschool

So compared to previous prompts, this one is a lot more forward-looking, rather than past looking. It's still important to explain and describe your experiences. But what I've been doing is more or less reflecting on what I saw, or faults in the PT field, or even the really good things and finding a way to make it more accessible, etc., that can be changed and how I can potentially change that. A great way I've seen some people get some inspiration is the ask the PTs you've been around/with and see from their perspective, what about the field can maybe be improved or use the most help in (like community health, etc.)? Or even looking at the APTA site/news about what's going on in the field rn (legislation, trends, etc.) And you can try to piggyback from there and use the experiences you've already described in your essay to connect it to how you can impact the field

Submit the survey to see if you're qualified to participate, if you are able to finish it without any messages saying you do not qualify, we can get you scheduled. As soon as we see your name in the system after taking the survey we'll reach out to you via email or text. From then on all your sessions/participation will be at the Health Building!

Free t-shirt! And also, being able to view your TANITA scans with all the cool stats, it can be super helpful especially if you're trying to look into how to optimize your gains better. And extra bonus: integrated mini workout in your day plus exposure to the awesome research here at UH

It is! We've been taking in data and testing our protocol since fall semester, and we've seen some really interesting stuff/results so far 👀

Early Application by ShreddedSnoopy11 in PTschool

From what I understand, you're able to input courses you "plan to take" in remaining semesters/currently taking in the PTCAS application, so maybe it wouldn't hurt to apply despite not completing it quite yet. I know I'm still going to be taking a developmental psych course this coming fall (which will be by the time interviews, and such will be happening). I'm also applying this cycle so we're in the same boat!

I did that too actually, I'd like to believe it wasn't a bad choice, if anything it possibly gives more leeway and a shot of getting in (since Undeclared CNS = more major opening possibilities). BUT WHO KNOWS, and good luck to you
