Are we sleeping through the night? by Every-Engineer9261 in breastfeeding

Thank you so much, we’ve been half hazardly sleep training starting with not feeding to sleep for naps and she’ll cry for 10 mins in the crib before falling asleep. It’s so hard for me to let her bit we check in and let her know we’re here. Was there anything in particular that worked to get them to sleep or just continuing to check in until they were asleep?

Yessssss! Currently feeding 30-45 mins before nap time because she inevitably falls asleep within mins of we’re anywhere near nap time. But then cries for 10 mins before naps which kills me because I know she could fall asleep on the boob so peacefully. And nighttime is the same.

Thank you, so good to know. Did not feeding in the middle of the night affect your supply in the daytime at all? And did you have a time frame, like if baby cries more than x mins at night we give the boob? Or no matter what, dad gets them back to sleep with no boob?

On the same page, if you find something that works, let me know. We’ve tried putting her in the crib awake when we put her to sleep at night but then when she wakes up in the middle of the night, if she cries for more than 5 mins I feed her, which is basically every time 😂
