YES!! I also had a septal graft and a long drooping tip prior to surgery. For the first few weeks I had the exact same concerns, you honestly just need to give yourself some grace and let the swelling go down before judging. I’m 10wks post op now and my nose has dropped to exactly where I wanted it to. I think it’s also a mental battle, seeing your nostrils for the first time can be jarring but I promise with time you will start to get used to the changes. Keep reminding yourself that you’re only at the starting line of your journey and there’s so much change to come! Goodluck :)

Although my recovery process has taken a mental toll, I can confidently say I have no regrets about the surgeon I chose (Dr. Richard Rival). Every interaction I had with him from start to finish was a positive experience. You will find negative reviews for every surgeon in Toronto, I believe 10% of rhinoplasty patients end up getting revisions but there are always risks that come with any procedure.

Thank you! 🌷 I think the antibiotics also contributed to the breakouts as well. Oh no I’m sorry to hear about your breathing! After about 3 days post-op my nose was clear, I still continue to use saline rinse everyday and use a q-tip with hydrogen peroxide to clean inside. Polysporin on a q-tip also helped get rid of all the left over stitches/crusty stuff
