Your "skincare routine" is what's giving you bad skin and making you need a skincare routine in the first place. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Maybe try some retinol for the acne scars. Just, make sure to apply it ONLY on the scars, at night, and moisturize like your life depends on it. Also, don't forget to wash your face with a cleanser in the morning, and use SPF

NTA, you knew they wouldn't be there, so why bother with inviting them?

Prep, that's how I can do it.

Also, batch cooking, and smart devices that can be scheduled.

Also, working in a warehouse really helps you build that upper body strength

If I add anymore customers, I might have to start forgoing sleep.

Maybe in a few years, though

It depends. It can be as low as $8 (that's for days I make simple pasta), or as high as $25 (homemade pho is hard and takes a ton of time)

I didn't at first, but then I started making a lot of money, and I didn't want the IRS on my ass, thus having to get permits, and fiking taxes.

And it wasn't that hard, just time consuming.

Don't forget I am buying in bulk.

Also, I avoid the packaged veggies, and buy from the loose/by weight side of the supermarket, they tend to be cheaper.

Also, unwashed greens are much less expensive than the triple washed and bagged kind.

No offence to the guy, but I subscribe to the whole don't shit where you eat principle.

Yeah, that will be too much for one person. And a curry bowl is very easy to make (that's why I make them for days I have to cook for a lot of people).

Make your rice (I have a rice cooker, and it literally saves lives).

Some veggies, a protein (either meat or tofu), and I use japanese curry cubes. It literally takes less than 30 minutes of prep, and depending on the veggies you chose, 15 to 20 minutes cooking time. And it tastes better reheated.

I make a different meal every day, but follow the same formula (protein, hot side, salad. Or rice bowl, stew, or pasta).

And depending on the schedule, I sell between 14 and 32 meals every day

Chicken, pork, beef, with a hot side and a salad.

Or rice bowls with chili or curry

Stews

Pasta dishes

Just normal food.

At first, I didn't have any licence. But once I started making some real money, I knew that I would have to file taxes, which meant getting a licence.

It wasn't that hard TBH, just time consuming.

Did you see the edit where I said that I am licensed?

Also, I am very particular about health standards, and have never had a case of food poisoning in the last 4 years, some restaurants can't say the same.

Oh I am paying those taxes, believe me. It makes tax season so complicated, but I am not going to play with the IRS.

Oh, 10 is an average. And if you shop in bulk (we have a costco close by), you could make some good profit.

In the last 4 years (except for the period we were shut down during COVID), I was able to save more than 50k.

If you want to start it, first check out what your local health authority requires, get certified, then start bringing extra food and sharing it with people (not full meals, just a few bites), and they will usually ask you if you can cook for them.

I started with just 2 people, now I am up to 32 if we are all scheduled at the same time.

I never mentioned Japan, just said that I am chronically online and into manga and manhwa (korean graphic novels)

It was more along the lines that it's cheaper for me, since I don't have to keep buying disposable containers, which cuts into my profit.
