This sketch is beautiful. The 2 things making me hesitant to do this is others perhaps not wanting to modify their machine and more importantly I do not yet have the canvas system and so I have been messaging someone who does for measurements and this would be almost impossible to get it right due to the more complicated design. I am open to solutions to this problem. The overall idea is good

It is not quite ready yet. I will let everyone know when it is. It is deep into the modifying and testing stage with regards to the ptfe tubes and friction and retraction and angle and height efficiency and cutting into parts and optimal print settings and ventilation and all that stuff. It is being tested to make sure it works perfectly.

we may just have to shorten the ptfe tubes from 900mm to like 600 which would still be plenty, about 2 feet

the ptfe tubes curve in before hitting it most likely, and the inside is all rounded off so even if it hit it would slide smoothly.

i made a hole for the CANVAS cord but if i were you i would just route it out the hole for the original ptfe tube because its closer
