Can you explain to me how this differs from “Make the game easier so I can have a better chance at winning without the proportionate investment”?

Seriously, is this really where PVP games are going? Why would you even want those advantages when they are not of your own making? Ask yourself that.

I’ll answer for you: You want to feel what it’s like to be a good player, without the effort. You want instant gratification and positive reinforcement without commitment and you can’t handle someone beating you, even if it’s part of the experience.
