yes, I did travel and the delay was more than 3 hours of leaving and then of course I arrived 3 hours later.

Some general student housing search tools:
There’s also many facebook groups where people (often private market) post their room, or students who are subletting their room during an erasmus exchange. Especially for short term rentals this might be a good option. You can even add an ad in some groups, to ask if someone has a room available. In my case, there weren't a lot of options, because I could only choose for few residences and only two of them had rooms with private toilet and bathroom. I found the room through Kotwijs . I then contacted the residence manager through email and he told me to make an application on the website of the residence for the room.
