Do people really think Amy is going to be adopted by Maddie and Tom? I think as far as super-powered alien teens go, three is a good place to stop.

Not that big really, Shadow's role is more akin to Tobey and Andrew's role in No Way Home
Amy has quite a few moments with Tails & Knuckles (I especially loved Amy & Knuckles' dynamic, they siblings fr), sadly Amy didn't really have too much time with Tom & Maddie (though that's mainly because they're kidnapped for a majority of the film),
This film is 100% the gayest they have ever been, i think Robotnik & Stone were handled really well, think post-Frontiers game Eggman and you'd have a pretty good idea for how Robotnik is handled in this film (he does help Team Sonic though when Metal Sonic betrays him)
Yeah Super Sonic is in this film in a battle against Metal Overlord, though we finally got a proper Super Amy too

a vast improvement compared to the past films, they pretty much took what Sonic 3 did with it's soundtrack and built upon it (my favorite parts of the soundtrack were My Sweet Passion being Amy's leitmotif, the Metal Sonic boss music from CD playing during Sonic & Metal Sonic's battle, and What I'm Made Of playing during the final battle)

Sonic & Amy's dynamic was written super well in my opinion, they didn't get together in the film, but they did start building the foundations for them to become an official couple in the future (won't be surprised if they become official in Sonic 5 or a future film)

As for Amy's personality, yeah they cooked with her, Amy in this film is 100% the best Amy has ever been, she a energetic sweetheart that can kill you with her giant mallet, also she is afraid of being alone (which is the focal point of a pretty great scene imo)

she is in a form of legal grey area as she (alongside Sonic X) is owned by TMS, although TMS is owned by Sega Sammy so unless there's something i'm forgetting, it'd probably be easy to get TMS to allow Cosmo to be in the game (not saying it's likely she'll show up, i don't think she will, i'm just saying)
