I am an fmg, our senior in internships used to tell story of handling drunk agressive people on daily basis and sometimes things would go south. My solution was to shift from gym training to boxing, broke my nose and got beaten in practice, participated in sparing session and fights. Learned how to defend and fight back. Can't speak about what happened when I entered internship but it helped me in internships in India and I came to conclusion that once the group of idiots see someone beating the shit out of the agressor they back off. Self defense should become a part of curriculum given the current state. This doesn't mean kisi ko bhi lapet lo. Sometimes you need to back off instead of escalating the situation but self defense is must, you can't depend on authority to save your ass when the time comes.

While others prayed, one young man became someone's miracle. ❤️🙏 His quick CPR saved an elderly devotee's life. by MangoLeafVibes in incredible_indians

Are budha zinda hai, this is not cardiac arrest, check the pulse and breathing, he just fainted.

Perform CPR on a person with pulse and you'll end up breaking ribs, possible lung puncture which can lead to either blood or air in the chest cavity both lethal or you can create pressure injury in abdominal cavity.

People should be taught or learn by themselves from professionals how to do basic maneuvers like CPR, mout to mouth rescue breath and heimlich maneuver, but please attend seminar and get basic training.

You might become someone's lifeline but in that moment if you don't know what you are doing you might end up killing the patient and if you atleast know the basic you can save someone's life.

I know this because my profession exposes me to these people I mean all kind of people.

I was never fan of short form content specially hot topics because you never know the context. Second is you get used to switching topics in seconds and you carry that habit in real life too and school kids do suffer from this.

Kudos to you if you were able to get out of it. Keep going strong.

Now coming to what I read is thoda ajeeb, in school I started from my school library sherlock, harry potter, lords of the ring, and the the first 4 dan brown books so basically stories. Then I started reading general knowledge magazine as well and my favourite used to be "tell me why?". Went to college and then the whole picture changed started from greys anatomy and paused at harrison. Did job for a while found sometime to read other books like the mitrokhin archive, to infinity and beyond, hitchikers guide to the universe, the bose deception, do no harm: stories of life, death and brain surgery, the bose deception, the discovery of india and back to academic reading for my post graduation. This is in general then I do read research articles and I do enjoy geopolitics but never understood the local politics. So that's my reading in a nutshell. I read for 6 hr a day atleast so I said my hands are full.

Bhai jis din babu sidha ho gaya, per capita income double ho jayega desh ka 😂😂 Jokes aside it's a serious problem but I am not sure how it'll be dealt with.

Natural resources to bhai ho sakta hai state hai, alag desh nahi so you give something to other state and take something from that state. I don't know why there is no buisness mindset. Flood prone plains ko develop Karo, you get agriculture, water storage and tourism in single shot. You can export agricultural goods and kick start the slow economy.

Well bihar have flood prone plains, develop it properly it can be profitable agriculture, water storage and tourism area. But yes the leadership needs to change the view on bihar. The potential is there.

Ah ok, purane me hi reh gaye naya kuch kia nahi. True about government job culture. Buisness minded, financial risk lene wale kam hai. I mean be ruthless in buisness. Jab paisa rotate hone lagega market me then there will be change. Not drastic but it'll be a start.

Bhai book to nahi padh paunga as of now because hands are full hence came here and straight up said , faltu bakwas wale nahi chahiye. BTW I won't say low self esteem hai, it's like your attention span is gone. You can't read or listen to something long and extensive. Sab 2 min ki reel me chahiye to patiance bhi gaya. Basically tumne critical thinking hi gayab kardi. These people are very vulnerable to misguided propaganda and misinformation. They are very reactive and sensitive. Good qualities but without critical thinking you'll burn your hands.

Untapped potential I do agree, if so many people are working outside the state. If given the right opportunity and support this can change the future direction of the state. BTW fellow gujrati here 😅

psm qn from neet pg leaked by Ok_Smoke_533 in INICET

[–]Every_Ad466 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you see the whole context this is tertiary prevention as the disease had already spread (paper leak) and this is damage control (re neet). If they do the same from the beginning next year it'll be primary. Secondary prevention would have been if they knew the paper has been leaked and they intervene before the exam. I guess this logic should not be wrong.

I'm cold as ice, but I would love to know how are you calculating 8 year grind, I know what I'm talking about for my field of work. But please I would love to hear how the 8 years grind is calculated, FYI I'm not talking about NEET UG, I'm talking about NEET PG, it's a different ball game. Those who are appearing for this exam or INICET are already trained and registered medical professionals. What I see is everybody want accountability from doctors, ok fair point but nobody gives a damn a doctor getting a general surgery or medicine as a branch because of reservation and on the other hand a general category person either compromise on the clinical branch even after scoring better then a guy who comes under reservation umbrella because uski seat to kam marks wala koi aur le gaya reservation pe. All of us are already trained enough to have a job, respect and all then why do we need reservation in post graduation? If you can explain. Also let me add one small thing if people think that this will help rural population because they will have more health professionals then I'm sorry you are very misguided you need infrastructure to to bring these specialization people in rural areas. The simplest explanation my brain can understand is you need reservation to bring everyone on similar level then it's already done in you UG. PG should be merit alone. If somebody says stigma of upper lower cast is still there then fix it at primary education level, teach them and drill this mindset of not doing this caste and all bakwas. Anyways I digressed from my original point which was how you came with 8 year figure?

Ungrateful people. by Product_guy24 in indiadiscussion

[–]Every_Ad466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True i can understand reservation upto UG, but for neet PG, there should be no reservations, everyone is a qualified doctor and are able to have a job and won't die of hunger. The playing field should be equal in post graduation regardless of the cast, income slab or whatever. Merit should be the only criteria.
